Emmylou Harris - Hard Bargain

Det er ennå drøye 3 mnd. igjen av 2011, men det skal mye til at ikke Emmylou Harris' "Hard Bargain" blir årets album for meg. Emmylou leverer her rett og slett et nydelig album. Alle sangene er egentlig perler.

Det begynner med "The Road", til hennes duettpartner og gode venn på begynnelsen av 70-tallet Gram Parsons (The Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers) som døde av en overdose i 1973, bare 26 år gammel. Emmylou skrev "Boulder to Birmingham" til han i 1975, og kommer altså her med en ny sang tilegna sin gode venn og musikalske partner..
